Senior Motion Designer (Marketing)
Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Motion Designer with strong video editing experience to bring our marketing campaigns to life through compelling motion and video. You’ll play a key role in shaping how our brand shows up across paid media, social, web, and launch moments—turning strategy and insights into high-performing creative.
This role is ideal for someone who blends strong visual craft with a marketing mindset: you care about storytelling, but you also understand audiences, channels, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Create motion design and video assets for marketing campaigns across paid, social, web, email, and product launches
Lead video projects end-to-end: concepting, storyboarding, animation, editing, and final delivery
Partner closely with marketing, brand, and growth teams to translate briefs, messaging, and strategy into engaging motion
Design and adapt videos for multiple channels and formats (short-form, long-form, vertical, horizontal)
Optimize creative for performance while maintaining brand consistency and quality
Develop reusable motion templates and systems to scale campaign production
Manage multiple projects and timelines while maintaining a high creative bar
Mentor junior designers and provide creative feedback across the team
Contribute ideas to campaign concepts, creative testing, and iteration cycles, high-quality social video ads ranging from 15-60 seconds in length
Requirements
6+ years of experience in motion design and video editing, ideally in a marketing or brand environment
Portfolio showcasing campaign-driven motion work and polished video storytelling
Expert-level skills in:
After Effects
Premiere Pro or similar video editing tools
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma (or equivalents)
Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals: audiences, messaging, platforms, and KPIs
Experience creating assets for paid media and social platforms (Meta, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
Excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual hierarchy in motion
Ability to work from creative briefs and iterate based on feedback and performance data
Clear communication and strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice to Have
Experience working on performance-driven or growth marketing campaigns
Knowledge of AI tools
Familiarity with A/B testing, creative optimization, and content localization
Basic sound design, music selection, or color grading experience
Experience working in a fast-paced or scaling marketing organization
