Creative Strategist - (Advertising / Performance Marketing)
Job Description
Our Client is a growing Meta, YouTube, and TikTok focused creative agency specializing in UGC and performance-driven ads for brands like Starz, TaskRabbit, and Seed. They are a startup moving fast, and they are looking for a passionate Creative Strategist to help them build the team of tomorrow.
As a Creative Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing user-generated content (UGC) ad strategies for our clients on Meta, YouTube, and TikTok. You will work closely with our clients' marketing teams to conceptualize, create, and optimize high-impact UGC campaigns that resonate with target audiences and drive measurable results. Your creativity, strategic thinking, and understanding of social media trends and performance will be key to your success in this role. You'll also collaborate daily with our Client's Creator Managers, Video Editors, and Project Managers to ensure work is delivered on time and on brief.
Key responsibilities:
Strategy Development
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand campaign objectives, target audiences, and messaging
Develop innovative UGC and creative ad strategies tailored to Meta, YouTube, and TikTok, leveraging the unique strengths of each platform
Content Creation and Curation
Partner with the Creator Manager and clients to identify top-tier talent from our Client's network
Guide and inspire content creators with detailed briefs that give clear direction regarding content needs
Guide and inspire video editors with detailed post-production briefs that help them clearly execute your concept on behalf of our clients
Trend Analysis and Insights
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media advertising and UGC
Provide regular insights and recommendations to clients and internal teams based on industry trends and performance data
Collaboration and Communication
Partner with cross-functional teams, including the Creator Manager, Video Editors, and Project Manager, to create cohesive and effective ad campaigns
Present creative concepts and campaign results to clients, articulating the strategic rationale and value of UGC, performance statistics, and Motion Design Ads
The Ideal Candidate
You have a background in copywriting, graphic design, marketing, or a related creative field — what matters most is a genuine passion for social media content and a strong grasp of performance marketing
You thrive on building long-lasting, authentic client relationships
You have hands-on experience in the UGC and creative space as it relates to paid social and growth marketing
You're motivated by the opportunity to grow with a startup and help shape how the team scales
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a Creative Strategist, Art Director, or Copywriter in a creative agency or performance marketing environment. (This is an individual contributor role with room to grow — we are not hiring at the Director level)
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
Proficiency or familiarity with design and editing tools like Adobe, Figma, or similar is a plus
Proficiency or familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and/or TikTok Ads Manager is a plus
Strong understanding of growth marketing principles and paid social best practices
Excellent communication and presentation skills — you're comfortable presenting strategy and performance results directly to clients
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively across multiple client accounts
Passion for building strong, lasting partnerships with clients
