Digital Marketing Project Manager
Job Description
Our client doesn't just help businesses get found online; they help them stand out, grow, and win in their markets. They are a small but mighty digital marketing team that works closely together, wearing a lot of hats and moving fast for their clients. As they continue to grow, they're seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Project / Client Success Manager who's ready to be the day-to-day face of their client accounts and keep every moving piece on track.
They need someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get hands-on. Someone who takes real ownership of their accounts, shows up on time every time, and treats client relationships like they're their own business. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing SEO, PPC, web, and content work across multiple accounts, and is confident enough in WordPress to troubleshoot site issues, coordinate maintenance, and keep client websites running smoothly.
This role is fast-paced by nature. Priorities shift, deadlines move, and things come up. You'll thrive with them if you like variety, think on your feet, and take pride in being the person clients and teammates can count on.
If you're ready for an opportunity to work closely with a tight-knit, dedicated team, own client relationships directly, and grow alongside people who care as much as you do, we'd love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities
Own day-to-day management of client accounts, serving as the primary, dependable point of contact for project status, timelines, and deliverables.
Build and maintain project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met across SEO, PPC, web development, and content work.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to keep projects moving on time, on budget, and on strategy.
Manage ongoing WordPress website maintenance for client accounts, including updates, plugin management, backups, and routine troubleshooting.
Serve as a first point of response when a client's website goes down or has a technical issue.
Track project scope, budgets, and hours, flagging risks and changes before they become problems.
Facilitate client check-ins, status calls, and internal team meetings, keeping everyone aligned and informed.
Maintain accurate records in project management tools, ensuring visibility into task status and deliverable timelines.
Identify bottlenecks and process gaps and recommend improvements to keep projects running smoothly.
Escalate issues early and proactively, bringing solutions, not just problems, to the team.
Requirements
Proven experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast- paced environment.
Strong client-facing skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate clearly under pressure.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of personal accountability and ownership over your work.
Proficiency with WordPress, comfortable navigating the backend, troubleshooting common issues, and coordinating updates.
Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Ability to translate marketing and technical concepts into clear, actionable plans for clients and teammates.
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of follow-through.
Calm under pressure, with a proactive, solution-first mindset, especially in urgent or time-sensitive situations.
Comfortable working closely within a small team where everyone contributes beyond their core role.
Nice to Have
2+ years of project management experience in a digital marketing or advertising agency.
Hands-on experience with WordPress, including basic troubleshooting and site maintenance. WooCommerce and Shopify experience would be a plus.
Experience working across SEO, PPC, web development, and content marketing disciplines.
Understanding digital marketing KPIs and how they tie back to client goals.
